2-to-5 Day Hunting & Fishing Packages

At Bitter Brush, rod and gun sports action is offered in packages that can be tailored to you and your group. Here are some of our most popular packages:

UPLAND BIRD HUNTING PACKAGE
1 pm arrival (any day of the week)
2 nights lodging
5 meals 1 round of sporting clays
1 full day of hunting

After early afternoon arrival, shoot a round of sporting clays...a challenging, reflex-sharpening course in which clays spring from unexpected and sometimes multiple directions. Then dinner and sleep, followed next morning by a country breakfast and Pheasant hunting with your seasoned guide. Next comes lunch, an afternoon Chukkar hunt, dinner and sleep. Departure next morning at 10, following a light breakfast. (Ask about our seasonal Quail, Dove and Waterfowl packages.)

"BIG GAME PACKAGE"
In the fall, guided hunting for deer, elk, and antelope can be custom-designed for your group. Due to the popularity of this season, early sign-up is advised, so that licenses and tags can be obtained, and plans made well in advance of opening day.

FISHING PACKAGE
1 pm arrival (any Saturday-through-Thursday)
2 nights lodging
5 meals
All-day access to private ponds
1 full day fishing on the Deschutes River

After 1 pm arrival, leisurely boat or shore fishing for trout, bass or pan fish on Bitter Brush's private ponds. Then dinner, sleep, light breakfast and be on the Deschutes by 6:30 am, angling with your expert guide for steelhead or trout, depending on the season. Enjoy a riverside lunch, fish the rest of the day, return to the ranch for dinner and sleep; depart next morning at 10, following a light breakfast.

"ROD & GUN PACKAGE"
1 pm arrival (any Saturday-through-Thursday)
3 nights lodging
8 meals
1 round sporting clays
1 Pheasant/Chukkar hunt
1 afternoon on the River
1 morning on the River
Open fishing on private ponds

Following 1 pm arrival, shoot a round of sporting clays (see previous "Hunting" package). Then dinner, sleep, country breakfast and a morning hunt for Pheasant or Chukkar. After lunch, be on the Deschutes by 2 pm; fish until dusk for steelhead or trout (depending on the season); then stay in our snug Frog Springs cabin on the River. Dinner, sleep, light breakfast, fish the River till noon; back to the ranch, lunch, fish the ponds before dinner, then sleep; light breakfast before 10 am departure the next day.

"BLAST & CAST PACKAGE"
1 pm Monday Arrival

After 1 pm arrival, fish for trout, bass or pan fish on Bitter Brush's private ponds, then dinner and sleep. Next day: country breakfast, learn fishing secrets of the Deschutes from one of our expert guides; lunch and be on the River by 2 pm; fish with your guide till dusk for steelhead or trout (depending on the season). Put in for dinner, sleep by the River in our snug Frog Springs cabin. At dawn: light breakfast, fish till noon; back to the ranch, lunch, fish the ponds, dinner and sleep. Next day: light breakfast, on the river by 6:30 am; fish till lunch, then until dusk, then back to the ranch for dinner and sleep. Wake for a country breakfast, shoot a round of sporting clays (see previous "Hunting" package). Lunch, then hunt for Pheasant or Chukkar all afternoon. Dinner, sleep, depart 10 am Saturday after light breakfast.

Applies to all packages: A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation, with the balance due 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. In case of cancellation, the deposit will be fully applied to a reservation for a different date, provided notification is received, and the reservation re-booked, within 30 days of the original reservation date.
